Love So Much Deeper by ~apoc303:iconapoc303:

I look at you, tears in my eyes
and I must confess this:
"unconditional love sees only beauty."
Your beauty is unmatched

Not another word from our lips,
yet your eyes speak
of a love so much deeper
than can ever be spoken
but must not yet be revealed.

Your eyes filled me with warmth
so many times promised before
Now we are warm again,
may I never forget.

And as I shall never forget the warmth,
you shall never forget that I will be here.
Always here for you, to comfort you
and to love you.

I will always be here, waiting.
Waiting to see you smile again,
waiting to hear you laugh,
waiting to see your eyes like they were that night.

And every day, I love you so much deeper.

I wrote this tonight 'cause I had someone on my mind. I had to get it out.

That is wonderful, it's so much deeper to me than just that. :aww:

Wow. There's a lot of meaning wrapped up in those words, a lot of commitment as well. They must really mean a lot to you.
I like this poem because of the commitment in it that I could never bring myself to write. It's the simple, honest yet powerfull love, void of the suffering that plauges my own writings.

Very nice

... for once, we feel as though we can love ourselves, and sometimes we grow to understand ourselves through that other person, but then we also want to make excuses for them when they aren't the right person or have flaws

That is the most elogant and thought-out comment I have ever recieved on anything. There is alot of love and comitment in this poem, you're right. There is alot of love and comitment towards that person. I've learned that the best poetry comes when you let go of yourself, and your fear of what people would say and/or think and just write your heart. I didn't want her to read all this. I didn't think she was ready to read this yet, but I let her read it. She loved it, but it scared her. She's NOT ready to read it yet, but a few weeks later, we talked on the same subjects and because she had already been exposed to the amount of love that I showed her in the poem, it was easier for her to hear all I had to tell her. That night was good. A lot of good things were said that needed to be said, and our relationship is stronger now. Wait... why am I writing all this? Basic thing is just write from your heart, and people will love it.
